Spring is here and we all know what that means, Spring Cleaning! This is the season where everyone usually participates in a deep cleanse of their space and other areas in their lives. Here is how you should prepare for Spring 2022:
1. Change Your Mindset – Your thoughts control how you feel! Focusing on negative emotions such as fear, anger, and jealously prevents you from having inner peace. We’re not saying that you shouldn’t feel these types of emotions, but it is important to feel and release. Think about what it is that makes you feel a certain emotion, if possible, address it through conversation or journaling, and then, focus on how you can alter your negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones.
2. Clean and Cleanse Your Space – Holding on to things that serves you no purpose takes up energy and space. Spring is a time for new beginnings and renewal. Look at the things around you, how does it make you feel?
Get rid of things you don’t use or need.
Fill your space with things that make you feel light and refreshed.
Clean and cleanse your space that includes toxic free chemicals and sage.
3. Get Rid of Toxic Relationships – Sometimes it’s not your space that’s holding you back but the people who you allow in your space. This is a good time to reevaluate friendship or intimate relationships that seem toxic or draining. Here are a few signs of toxic relationships:
They are needy.
You try to avoid their calls.
There is always conflict.
It’s an on-and-off relationship.
There is no trust.
4. Budget – Focus on where you are spending your money. Is it on unnecessary things? Set yourself up to be financially whole and free. Make a plan and stick to a budget. This could include starting a savings account, investing, planning for a trip out of the country, or starting a new business.
No matter the time of the year, there is always room for improvement. Focus on what you need this spring so that you can grow and bloom into the best version of yourself!
